Nicole Richards
Nicole is a licensed massage therapist and myofascial release practitioner whose entire working life has been about one question: why does a body stop moving well, and what brings that movement back?
Her bodywork practice is built on advanced manual therapy, including John Barnes myofascial release and spontaneous muscle release technique, alongside ongoing training in neurology-based movement education. Week after week, her hands are in the actual tissue of actual bodies: feeling where a spine has stopped articulating, where a shoulder has traded motion for guarding, where a body is ready to open and just needs the right invitation.
The GYROTONIC® Method is that invitation, made into a movement practice. When she found the work, the recognition was immediate: this equipment moves bodies the way her hands always wanted them to move, in curves, waves, and spirals, with support the whole way. She completed her GYROTONIC® Foundation training and is continuing through the method's full certification process, and she brought the equipment home to Sedona.
What makes sessions here different is the pairing. Most movement trainers have never felt a stuck spine from the inside; most bodyworkers can release tissue but not train it. In this studio the same practitioner does both, so what gets freed on the table learns to move on the tower, and what shows up on the tower informs what the hands look for.
The space
A private studio in the Village of Oak Creek
The studio is a private, one-on-one space in the Village of Oak Creek, on the south side of Sedona. No group classes running in the background, no front desk, no one waiting for your machine. Your session hour belongs entirely to you.
The nearest other GYROTONIC® studios are in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area, more than 90 minutes away. If you've trained on this equipment elsewhere and thought you'd have to give it up to live here, you don't. And if you've never touched it, you get to learn on home ground.
The studio is at 6586 State Route 179, Suite B3, in Ranch House Square. Serving Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek, Cottonwood, the Verde Valley, and movers willing to make the drive from Flagstaff and Prescott.
